Come watch a developer and an admin (Lance Spellman and Francie Whitlock) walk through a "NSFDB2 or not" scenario from beginning to end. Starting with the evaluation of an existing IBM Lotus Notes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application to decide if it would be appropriate to set it up as an NSFDB2-based application. That will be followed by a server install and setup and subsequent conversion of the application to NSFDB2 with a DB2 back-end. You'll be shown how to analyze the performance metrics of the converted application and watch as the CRM application gets some new capabilities with IBM Lotus Domino Access Views (DAV) and Query Views. You'll walk away with a complete methodology for assessing, implementing, analyzing and developing any application from a traditional NSF to a NSFDB2 back-end.
