This session will explore the options for integrating enterprise telephony with your Lotus Sametime collaboration environment. We'll highlight new "telephony-ready" features of Lotus Sametime 8 and discuss integration options from key telephony providers. We'll introduce the IBM Lotus Sametime "Unified Telephony" offering, due to ship later this year, which will help you more easily access and manage telephone communications directly inside the Lotus Sametime or IBM Lotus Notes client. We'll show how it will enable users to make use of features such as an integrated softphone, incoming call notification, call management, and aggregated presence, all while simplifying the integration into your existing telephony environment.
