This session gives an overview of Web 2.0, AJAX and REST, and how these services result in significantly improved user experience, performance, responsiveness and scalability. Weā€™ll introduce the technical vision and outline how WebSphere Portal will further adopt Web 2.0 concepts and exploit AJAX and REST concepts to a greater degree in future releases. We'll demonstrate how customers can develop their own Web 2.0 applications exploiting AJAX, semantic tags and REST on top of WebSphere Portal - and more! Weā€™ll also share upcoming WebSphere Portal Version 6.1 enhancements, concluding with demonstrations of new, exciting technologies.
