In this session we'll share our experiences enabling the integration of Totvs, the largest Latin-American ERM provider, with Lotus Notes 8 and Lotus Symphony. We'll explore the integration possibilities that Lotus Notes and the productivity tools bring into the composite application arena, investigating the choices of "soft-wiring" (WSDL files and PropertyBroker) and "hard-wiring" (Eclipse and IBM Lotus Expeditor programming, productivity tools APIs and UNO framework). We'll cover how to bring customer data into the productivity tools, leveraging innovative ways to manipulate their data, exploring the strengths and limitations found in Totvs solution development using Lotus Notes 8 as the base platform.
