You asked for a lightweight client for workers in the field, better client speed over dial-up connections, a reduced feature set, no more pop-up windows, and a replacement for (Lotus Domino) WebMail -- and we listened! We're introducing a new "lite" mode of Lotus Domino Web Access shipping in release 8.01. During this session, we'll go under the hood to describe the framework and the many optimizations designed into lite mode, which is ideal for users requiring a simplified mail experience and will increase the productivity of traveling users who might be working in bandwidth constrained environments. Demoes will showcase how lite mode is a fully asynchronous, extensible framework that is built for speed -- and also built for the future.
