This session will highlight how IBM WebSphere Portal enables businesses to more easily respond to business opportunities and challenges by leveraging open standards, re-use of assets through SOA deployments, integrated content and collaborative services, and secure, role-based access to composite applications. Web 2.0 capabilities are transforming the internet, combining content, collaboration and user experiences to dynamic platforms for social interaction. By merging the advantages of Service Oriented Architectures with Web 2.0 capabilities organizations can build and extend portal solutions that attain new levels of business agility and innovation. During this session we'll present the WebSphere Portal Strategy, including new offerings that provided faster time to value. Going beyond the strategy, we'll also explain through real examples how customers are currently leveraging these products to support the business growth and responsiveness. And finally, we'll share the platform vision for the future.
